I would say the strongest principle in this photo is line. You did an excellent job using the railing as leading lines, taking my eye straight to the building at the end of the bridge. I also love all the shapes that help unify this photo. The rectangles/squares on the railing and building and the circles on the building as well. The contrast is really nice in this picture as well. The railing and the building are darker than the background, making them stand out (and the floor of the bridge being grey, help focus the eye more on the railing). As a personal opinion, I would crop the top so that it's just showing the top of the building. I think there's a little too much negative space at the top of the picture, but it's probably okay like it is.
Although, the high contrast between the railing/building and the background doesn't give me a calm, "zen" feeling that I think would benefit the overall effect of this picture, the rhythm that the leading lines create is so strong and appealing to the eye, I don't really care or notice the underlying theme of feelings this picture gives me
